Technical Program Manager
Location: Grand Rapids, MI preferred / Remote
Experience: 7+ years
Compensation: Competitive salary + meaningful equity
The role
You make sure we actually ship — at 3x speed, without the chaos that usually implies.
Why this role exists
Our tools let us run faster than traditional teams. That creates a new problem: coordination when everyone's moving at warp speed. We've shifted everything left — spec reviews before implementation, plan reviews before code. You make that process work.
What you'll do
- Own delivery for engineering workstreams — outcomes, not status updates
- Bridge product, sales, and engineering — no surprises
- Make spec-driven development work: right conversations, right time, before implementation
- Unblock engineers before they ask
- Build processes: onboarding, release management, incident response
- Know the OKRs, know the sales demos, know what needs to happen
You're orchestrating delivery across Co-Care, Pulse, Flow, and the agents that tie them together.
You're a fit if you have
- 7+ years managing technical programs in software/SaaS
- Worked directly with engineers, not just Jira
- Can read a PR description and know if it's risky
- Strong written communication — async matters
- Default to action, not meetings
Also great if you have
- Healthcare or regulated industry experience
- Been at a company before product-market fit
- Technical background — you've written code
- Built processes that survived contact with reality
The AI-native part
We need you to have figured out how to use AI to multiply your effectiveness. Claude for specs and meeting summaries? Jira MCP? Slack automations? If you've fundamentally changed how you work with AI tools, we want to hear what you've built.
What this role is NOT
A scrum master running ceremonies without understanding what's built. A PM updating Gantt charts. A buffer between leadership and engineers.
Why Healiom
Pre-Series A. 12 engineers. Real equity. Your impact on velocity will be obvious within weeks.
